David El Gitano is an artist of origin Gypsy, born in Grenoble in 1970. In 1975 his parents decide to take their caravan and become established in Camargue: earth of saint Sarah sponsors Gypsies.
David El Gitano makes left the family of Manitas de Plata and Gipsy Kings with whom he played his first agreements
Then it decides to create its own group, and to follow its road tirelessly, accompanied with his own musicians among whom his elder brother "Seaman" in timpani, and his nephew " Litete " in the guitar and in singing.
From the exit of their first album « RUMBA OF FUEGO » in 1995, the group establishes itself fast as inevitable musicians.
In 2005 David El Gitano takes up European on stages and worldwide. (France, Russia, Germany, Switzerland, the United States,...)
Very appreciated by the public, her audience enlarged fast.
